I Need Some Advice On Room Decor. What Would Go with this...and is it an okay idea?
I bought the victorian bed from Delias. http://store.delias.com/browse.do?categoryKey=roomwares.victorian&splashTrack=room&incmpid=RoomMid
I was thinking, paint the walls a ivory/white and then by the ceiling do a strip of bright blue that matches the sheets. Then get a stencil to match the bed design, and do that on the wall in Black. Then re-do all my furnite either white or black.
Is that good? Any advice?
and also...i have carpet in my room. it's all white, and i cant change it. my mom would kill me.(not literally)
also i have wooden framing (painted white) all around my door (white) and windows(white). Should i paint it black?

That sounds very busy, If you do the walls in that pattern, then get the bedding, your bed will look lost, and won't stand out. Have you thought about doing the opposite? Painting the walls blue, then doing a white stripe with the black stencil at the top. Then you could leave the frame white. I've painted frame black before, and it took a good 4 coats. It was such a hassle. Also, painting the walls blue would make your white carpet stand out in a good way. If that shade of blue is too much for you, you could go a shade or two lighter and it would still look good.
