swim caps?
i play water polo so we wear swim caps and i have a hot pink cap and a white one that have turned swirly brown in some spots
i dont have died hair and they are both brand new
can anyone tell me why this happens and if i can get rid of it
also how can i keep my caps from smellying bad
Pool water, as you probably know, isn't pure 100% water. There's chlorine as well as a bunch of minerals and other 'impurities' from the public usage. So, after a while, the pool water discolors caps and suits.
Also, if you just throw your cap into your bag after using it, the bad smell is probably mold. To prolong your cap's life, you should rinse it with tap water after using it and let it air dry. I also find that silicone caps keep their color longer.
