How to remove dye from a washing machine drum?
I recently used a Dylon in wash dye however having followed the manufacturers guidelines i'm struggling to remove the dye residue from the drum. I have put the machine through several cycles including several boil washes. I have scrubbed the drum, seal and all elements I can reach however I still have small flecks on dye collecting in the seal. Any ideas what else I can do?
I am a firm believer in good old fashioned washing soda. It cleans everything. Buy a bag from your local supermarket for around 65p and tip the lot into machine drum and set it on it's hottest wash.
