Speaking School
What role does language speaking take when trying to get into a good school?

If I'm trying to get into a good school would I have a better chance if I speak more than one language? What if I speak more than two or three, what kind of impression does that make on the person, and what are the most impressive languages to speak?
ex. if one person speaks only english, but has everything else excellent, will he have trouble competing against a person who has less than excellent but still good grade, and speaks latin, english, spanish and norweigan?

You need to meet the minimum language requirements of the college.

You can list other languages spoken on your resume along with your extracurricular activities, etc. Few colleges would admit a student who otherwise would not be admitted merely because he or she speaks several languages. On the other hand, a prodigy who spoke over ten languages perfectly, especially if some were "difficult" languages might be given special consideration.

I'm sure that you are aware that you should not use foreign languages or words from them in your admissions essay or interview. The reason, of course, is that it appears arrogant, even if that is not your intent.
