2 Questions about Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter?
I need a cutter that can cut unique sizes of paper and such, and from my research, it seems like the Cricut is the right choice.
So, just to make certain, I want to ask the lovely crafters here their opinion of the mechine before I purchase it.
1) Is it a good mechine? Pros, cons?
2) Is around $102.99 a pretty good price? Michaels has them on sale right now, down from $269.99 to $129.99, then I was emailed an additional 20% off coupon. Woohoo.

Check that coupon, most can not be used on the Cricut.
There are different Cricuts. The cheaper one cuts out on a much smaller surface the the new Cricut. So make sure you research what each one can do and not do. The new one does a lot more.
There is a learning process with this machine. You are not going to take it out of the box and be able to use it. You are going to have to read the instructions, then play around and practice with it for awhile. I have seen some classes - which I would recommend taking if you can find them.
You really need an area where you can keep the machine out and plugged in. You will use it more.
I know the newer Cricut can cut different kinds of paper. I know on the older one there was some problems with it not cutting out heavier cardstock.
Does it come with any cartridges? Price out your cartridges-you will need to build up your library of them. They are bring out lots of new ones. check out the new ones at below site.
