Whats better and why?
Cuttlebug Die-Cut & Embossing Machine or the Xyron Personal Cutting System and what about the Provo Craft Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter? please help me!!
I have not tried the Cuttlebug Die-Cut or the Xyron Personal Cutting System, but I did just purchase the Cricut (the older model, not the Cricut Expression). The Cricut machines were very expensive and I probably would not have purchased it because of that, but I found it at Wal-Mart for $184 which is pretty cheap compared to how much they sell it for everywhere else.
I love my Cricut because it's really quick and easy, and you can get a lot of different cuts with each cartridge. The part that I don't like is how expensive the cartridges are. I have priced them at cricut.com, Wal-Mart, Michael's, Joann's and AC Moore. The cheapest I have found is Joann's and they run around 69.99 each. That is still a little too pricey for my budget. But like I said, you get a lot of different cuts with each cartridge and the range of sizes that you can cut are versatile so I have still gotten a lot out of the one cartridge that my machine came with. I am planning on saving up for a new cartridge in the future.
Hope this helps!
